MG Montego Turbo
Produced between 1985 and 1991, the 1994cc O series engine developed 152 bhp @ 5100 rpm and 169ftlb torque @ 3500 rpm with its Garrett T3 turbocharger, developing 10 psi. Single SU carburetter. Honda derived 5-speed gearbox. Top speed 126 mph and 0 - 60 mph in 7.3 seconds. At its launch, the MG Montego Turbo was the fastest saloon car in production.

MG Montego
Produced from 1984 to 1991, the 1994cc O series engine with electronic fuel injection developed 115 bhp @ 5500 rpm and 134lbft @ 2800 rpm. Honda derived 5-speed gearbox. Top speed 115 mph and 0 - 60 mph in 9.2 seconds.

MG Maestro Turbo
Produced in 1989, the

MG Metro 6R4
Produced in 1984, the 2991cc 90 degree 24v V6 engine developed 410 bhp @ 9000 rpm in 'International spec' and 270ftlb torque @ 6500 rpm. With a 5 speed gearbox delivering power to all 4 wheels it achieved 0 - 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. Developed by Williams Grand Prix Engineering to a specification by Patrick Head, the 6R4 was created to exploit the infamous Group B rules, giving over 400 bhp in 'works' trim and 250 bhp in Clubman spec. MG Maestro
Launched in 1983 with the 1598cc R series engine, upgraded to the 1600cc S series engine in July 1984 with the 2.0 EFi O series engine from October 1984 until the end of production in 1991. In

Single SU HIF 44 carburetter and a 4 speed gearbox. Top speed 112 mph and 0 - 60 mph: 9.9 seconds. The Metro Turbo had the most powerful production A series engine ever.

MG 1100 & 1300
Produced from 1962 to 1973 with a
1098cc OHV engine (as used on the later in MG Midgets) developing 55 bhp @ 5500 rpm. Twin carburetters, front disc brakes, a 4 speed gearbox and an all-independent suspension with Hydrolastic springing.
